Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This page explains how Signed Docs Republic uses cookies and browser storage, and how you stay in control of analytics tracking. We keep it simple: we only run analytics if you say yes.
The short version
- We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Analytics loads only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, analytics does not run.
- Your choice is remembered in your browser. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
What we use
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4, property G-Y09JLWLP7T): collects anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/region), device type, and referral source. This helps us see which content is useful and fix problems. It only loads after you accept.
- Consent preference (local storage): your Accept/Decline choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key
cookie_consent(valueacceptedordeclined) so you are not asked again on every visit. This is local storage, not an HTTP cookie. - Session and security cookies (strictly necessary):
signed_docs_republic_sessionandXSRF-TOKEN. These keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. They carry no analytics or advertising data, expire when your session ends, and are set without consent because the site cannot work securely without them.
We do not currently set any advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies.
Third-party content
We host our own web fonts. Pages do not load fonts, scripts, or other assets from third-party servers before you consent, so no request — and therefore no IP address — reaches a third party unless you have accepted analytics. Links to merchant and affiliate sites are ordinary outbound links: once you follow one, that site’s own cookie and privacy rules apply, not ours.
How to change your choice
Click Cookie settings — here, or in the footer of any page — and the banner reopens so you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, as the GDPR requires. If you switch from Accept to Decline, analytics stops immediately and the Google Analytics cookies already on your device are deleted. You can also block all cookies or analytics via your browser’s privacy settings.
Your browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and site data in their settings. Blocking storage may mean you are shown the consent banner each visit, but the site will still work.
Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or analytics tools, we will update this page and, where required, ask for fresh consent.
